Meet the clever creatives behind Floral Army

We have long admired the work and space of Alicia and Annita, the clever creatives behind Floral Army.  

They have recently madeover their beautiful space in the George St, East Freo precinct and in just a few days will be running a special workshop at Darling & Domain.                                                                                                                          

Floral Army is a lovely little corner store located in the heart of George Street in East Fremantle. 

We met while working in the floristry industry together almost 20 years ago. Becoming fabulous friends and after working together for many years, Floral Army evolved from working on gorgeous weddings and events to opening the doors to a beautiful store specialising in all areas of floristry and unique plants.

We have been operating for 9 years and we do all aspects of floristry from daily deliveries to large scale events. We stock a large range of beautiful flowers, plants and carefully selected gift ware. We have a team of experienced floral designers who are also super passionate about flowers and our industry.                                    

A typical day starts between 5.00am and 7.00am depending on the day.

It can involve a morning market flower run, or a delivery from our local growers.

We spend time processing our flowers and making orders for delivery and chatting to customers. 

We spend time setting up the shop and delivering early morning corporate installations.

It also involves a LOT of coffee!                                                                                     

There are too many favourites to just pick one but we love and enjoy working with the seasonality of our profession.
